Revenue from the group's global gaming business was slightly below 17.28 billion yen in the reporting period, up 18.5% year over year, while segment profit was slightly above 2.79 billion yen, up 69.8% from a year ago. The company said the performance was supported by "strong demand" for "major products such as bill verification devices and printer devices."

The company said the "difficulty" in obtaining electronic components for its products, which lasted during the first half of the group's fiscal year, was "nearly resolved in the second half," supporting the company's sales growth in its gaming division.

JCM on Thursday said it expected to achieve net sales of 35.1 billion yen in the 12 months to March 31, 2025. JCM expected operating profit of 3.4 billion yen and annual net profit of 2.6 billion yen.

Last year, JCM said it was targeting net sales of 38.5 billion yen for the fiscal year ending March 2026 as part of the group's mid-term management plan through 2032.
