The Primera Liga revealed its nominees for the 2023-24 Season Player of the Year, Coach of the Year, and Young Player (under 23) on its official club channel on Wednesday (Korea time). The best players in each category will be revealed at the award ceremony on May 28.

Candidates for this year's player of the year have been produced in sensational Girona including Real Madrid players who confirmed their victory in the Primera Liga. What is notable is Takefusa Kubo. Having completely transferred from Real Madrid to Real Sociedad in 2022, he played in 40 matches including the Cup as a regular striker in this season's Real Sociedad, scoring seven goals and five assists.

He has five goals and four assists in 29 matches in the Primera Liga. He is also known as Lee Kang-in (Paris Saint-Germain) best friend to Korean fans, as he will compete with Jude Bellingham, Vinicius (Real Madrid), Antoine Griezmann (Atletico Madrid), Artem Dobik, Alex Garcia (Girona), Kirian Rodriguez (Las Palmas), Roberto Lewandowski (Barcelona), Isco (Real Betis), and Alexander Sørlot (Villarreal).

Takefusa Kubo has been nominated for the La Liga Player of the Year award following the La Liga Player of the Year nomination. He will compete with other contenders such as Lamin Yamal, Kubarthy (Barcelona), Hodrigu (Real Madrid), and Nico Williams (Alicetic Bilbao). When he was nominated for the two La Liga titles this season, Japanese media including Soccer King gave a lot of weight to Kubo, saying that he was nominated.

Meanwhile, Carlo Ancelotti (Real Madrid), Mitchell (Girona), Diego Simeone (Atletico Madrid), Ernesto Valverde (Alicit Bilbao), and Barcelona Garcia (Villarreal) were chosen as the nominees for the best managerial award in the Primera Liga.

Memphis Depay (Atletico Madrid), João Cancelo (Barcelona), and Saur Cork (Las Palmas) were selected as the candidates for this year's goal.
