FSSAI Registration
FSSAI introduced an online application known as the Food Licensing and Registration System (FLRS). With this application, operators can apply for this Fssai license online.

Types of FSSAI license renewal
Usually, there are three types of FSSAI license renewals.
1: BSCIC/FSSAI LICENSE RENEWAL
2: STATE FSSAI LICENSE RENEWAL
3: CENTRAL FSSAI LICENSE RENEWAL
Basic FSSAI License Renewal
Basic FSSAI license renewals are issued for all those food business operators who have a turnover of less than 12 lakh.
State FSSAI License Renewal
This basic FSSAI license renewal is generally issued for those food business operators whose turnover is between Rs. 12 lakh and Rs. 20 crore.
Central FSSAI License Renewal
This basic FSAI license renewal is generally issued to those food business operators who have a turnover of more than Rs 20 crore.
Benefits of FSSAI License Renewal
This FSSAI license improves the quality or hygiene of the food. It provides law to food business operators.

Types of Food Businesses Who Need an FSSAI License

:- Exporters or importers of food
:- Food service provider

:- Other persons who are involved in the food business must have a FSSAI logo or number or be FSSAI-registered.
Documents Necessary for FSSAI License Renewal
:- Address proof
:- Identify proof such as a pan card, an Aadhar card, a driving license, a passport, or voter id.
:- Photos (passport size)
:- NOC by municipality or panchayat
:- Rent agreement or noc by owner
:- Cancelled check
:- Blue print or layout form for the processing unit
:- DGFT grants EC documents
:- Certificate from the Ministry of Commerce
:- Name of machine or equipment that is being used in the manufacturing unit
Procedure To Renew FSSAI License
There are two ways to renew our FSSAI license.
1:- ONLINE
2:- OFFLINE
Procedure to Renew FSSAI Registration Offline
:- Visit the food safety officer in charge and obtain Form A or Form B as per annual turnover.
:- Attached is a self-attested declaration.
:- Submit that filled-out application with the respective fees to the authority.
:- Then food organisations may conduct inspections of food.
:- The FSSAI authority will renew the registration when they are satisfied.
:- The FSSAI license will be renewed by the FSSAI authority within 60 days after applying.
:- Procedure to Renew FSSAI Registration Online
:- Log in to the FoSCoS website.
:- Click on the "renewal" option, and then select the "apply for the renewal of the license or registration" option.
:- A list of issuers of FSSAI licenses will appear.
:- Form A or Form B will be open. Where food business operators can only edit details
:- Upload every document which is asking on screen
:- Pay applicable fees.
:- The food business operators can track their renewal status on the FoSCoS website by entering a 17-digit registration code.
Fees for FSSAI License and Registration Renewal
Fees for an FSSAI license are the same as when we issued a new FSSAI license. Fees also depend on business turnover. It charges about Rs. 100 to Rs. 7,500 per year.
Effects If FSSAI License Is Not Renewed In Time
Food business operators charged an amount or penalty of Rs. 100 per day. A FSSAI license will expire if it’s not renewed within its time period. Every food business operator must apply within 30 days after their FSSAI license has expired.
