Lotte Giants' foreign-born hitter Reyes has been the lone bright spot in the team's three-game losing streak.

Victor Reyes, Lotte's newest foreign-born hitter, went 2-for-3 with a double and a walk against KIA in Gwangju on Saturday. Despite the team's loss, it's a good start to his first season in the KBO.

He is only three games into the season, but he has 13 hits, six doubles and one home run. On April 24, he sent Lotte fans into a frenzy with a dramatic tiebreaking two-run shot in the ninth inning against Incheon SSG.

The 6-foot-4 switch-hitter had two hits and a walk against KIA's Yang Hyun-jong on June 26. In the first inning, he drew a six-pitch walk. In the third inning, he pulled a two-pitch changeup from Yang for a single to left.

In the fifth inning, he singled against Yang to put runners on first and third with two outs. He was unable to follow up with a hit to score, but he continued to bat in the center of the order as the No. 3 hitter.
