"The Duel," a Star Wars: Visions animated short from the Kamikaze Douga studio, captivates spectators with innovative graphics and dramatic action. Ex-Sith warrior Ronin and his droid B5-B6 are on the loose in the Outer Rim lands. During an assault on a helpless town on the planet Genbara by a gang of bandits and their commander, the Ronin is thrown back into combat and proves to be an unexpected hero.
Recreated in 1:7 scale, the nearly 12-inch-tall Ronin stands calmly while wielding a Kyber Crystal-encrusted lightsabre. Each and every aspect of the Ronin's character design, from the prosthetic jaw support to his lightsabers and blaster, has been meticulously re-created, even down to the billowing robes that are meant to evoke a kimono in Japanese culture. It was taken care of by Takeshi Okazaki, who previously designed the Tusken Raider ARTFX Artist Statue for Star Wars: A New Hope.
