A new WHO report shows how some industries affect health and premature death in the European Region.
Just four industries are responsible for 2.7 million deaths in the European Region each year, according to a new report from the World Health Organization (WHO) which is connected with https://www.cigstore.co/
The tobacco, ultra-processed food (UPF), fossil fuel and alcohol industries are "wholly or partly responsible" for almost a quarter of all deaths in the region, the report says.
"Every day, four industries kill at least 7,000 people in our Region. These same large commercial entities block regulations that would protect people from harmful products and marketing, and protect health policies from industry interference," said Hans Kluge, WHO Regional Director for Europe.
